On Tuesday the 2nd of June, 2015. Mrs Dickson's brother in law, Sam Dickson,
came to our school to talk about what it is like to be in the rugby sevens. Mrs Dickson also came with her baby.
We asked him some questions like,
What encouraged you to be in the sevens team?
Why did you want to be in the sevens team?
There was one question that I really wanted him to answer and he did.
Who did you look up to?
The answer is
He looked up to Dan Carter and Richie McCaw.
He plays in tournaments almost all around the world.
We got to hold his medals.
The reason he came in was because idols and hero's are our topic for Inquiry
and the teachers thought it would be a good opportunity for us to realise what an Idol actually is.
