During a miserable night I had a dream, dreaming of a beautiful rainbow! l wonder what could be at the end of the rainbow.
I woke up with an idea, I asked Johnny do you want to explore on a journey with me to see what we can find at the end of the rainbow.
As we were walking out onto the deck, and the sun shining out the back paddock there it was the opportunity to explore with the rainbow in front of us, we looked at each other and we ask mum “could we wait another 5 minutes,” “of course mum whispered we’re on time today.”
Racing out the back gate onto the field, full of excitement we start running towards the rainbow,
While we were running it felt like the rainbow was getting more further away from us, we could see the end of it behind the cow “Quick Johnny let’s go go go.”
Just as we are reaching the cow Johnny says “But you said it was behind this cow?” “Oh now it is over there behind those bushes” “Ok let’s go.” We pass a cave full of disgusting and gooey slime on the wall, and finally as we are reaching the bushes the rainbow isn’t there anymore.
“Oh that’s right remembered Johnny, A rainbow is a human optical
perception of an interaction between sunlight and water drops in the sky,” “A WHAT THE,” “ You won’t get it drumhead because I am the smart one in the family,” “WHATEVER” “We just need to go home now before we are late for school (What A Disappointment”).
Kia Ora, I really enjoyed reading your story it was exciting. I loved how they thought that there is an end to a rainbow. In the middle there was sort of a climax that means its a mystery. Keep doing that and you will be amazingly incredible at writing in no time.
