We watched a movie called The Giver. It was about a cute boy named Jonas who got chosen for one of the most special jobs. He was announced as a receiver of memory on the island, when he finds out the truth about the past of his people and how they had been brainwashed and how their minds had been changed to forget certain things.
I really enjoyed the film, I found it kinda inspirational, the way Jonas still came back after being showed war because of Fiona, it was really great. Then the way Jonas went to elsewhere and he crossed the Boundary of Memory to show the people on the island everything they had missed out on.
The ending was absolutely amazing, Jonas had found humans who had lived on Earth and he took his little brother Gabriel with him. I would have rather changed the ending where Jonas and Fiona meet up as well and Fiona apologises for not going with Jonas and she finally admits her feelings for them and then well you know they kiss or I don't know.
I think whoever wrote the movie wanted to get it across that if you know something is right then do it no matter what.
