Crystal Evaporating Experiment

Hello walking specimens (don't worry about the name ahahha). We did a experiment where all that happened was a crystal colouring the water then making it lighter as it went into different test tubes. nothing exciting at all.
equipment - test tubes, test tube rack, pipette, tweezers, potassium pomegranate.
method -
- fill test tubes up with water
- grab a lil bit of the potassium pomegranate and put it in
- transfer 5ml using a pipette into each test tube
- watch it get lighter each time
- clean up
Dilute - make (a liquid) thinner or weaker by adding water or another solvent to it.
Concentrated - (of a substance or solution) present in a high proportion relative to other substances; having had water or other diluting agent removed or reduced.
