Commitment

This term (Term 4) our class is focusing on Commitment as our Kete/Inquiry.

The question is... What does Commitment mean to me?

To me when I ever think of Commitment the one phrase that pops into head is "Getting it done". Commitment could mean being committed inside of School or Class by either getting your work completed to a deadline that you set or your teacher sets. You could even be committed to helping out a friend in class or at recess on a day to day basis like how I help Aroha 24/7.

Commitment at home should be that you are committed to a club, let's say a sports club. Being committed to that sports club would mean that you go to every single practice and that you try your hardest at every game.

Throughout your family there is always someone that is committed to doing something for your family, you might have a family thing to go to, your family might even be committed to having dinner at one anothers house etc.

Commitment should make you look like you are focused on whatever it is you should be doing. Commitment could sound like either Silence or noise if it's supposed to be noisy.
If i'm being honest I don't know what it's like when you are committed but when you have finished you might feel amazing for getting it done or by winning the game.

A goal for me to be committed is for me to... Try to stop talking with friends while doing work or while listening to the teacher.

  1. Hi Sahana,
Reading your blog post it really made me think about me and how I am committed to marching out of school, your wording was really well put. Next time you may want to try giving more description on what you mean.

    Thanks,
    Summer

  3. Hey Sahana banana,
I really enjoyed reading your Commitment post. The best thing I liked about your writing is that you broke it up into five parts. The thing you could do a bit better is explain how commitment means to you. Anyway keep up the positive work:)
