- 1902 new type of bicycle with two cylinder petrol engine
- 1903, people believe his first test flight on 31 March
- 1906 patented his aircraft
- 1911 moved to Otago, farmed at Loudens Gully
- 1917 conscripted into Otago Infantry Regiment
- 1921 moved to Christchurch, built 3 houses
- 1943 applied for patent
- 1949 patent got approved
- 1951 admitted to Sunnyside Mental Hospital
- 1953 died of a heart attack 29th July
